There is no magical “right way”. Stop listening to gurus on the internet. they’ll tell you how to get rich in 30 days, how to build 18 sources of side income, how to network, how to do everything but listen to yourself. And while they may have their point of view and it might have worked for them, it might not be right for you.

Stop listening to anyone but yourself. What is the right way for you? Maybe jumping all in into a startup is not for you because not having a stable monetary source stresses you out and in turn doesn’t let you apply yourself fully. Maybe working on three different projects actually helps you. Maybe jumping into one thing with laser focus is what works for you. Maybe working 2 hours a day and then playing video games all day is what works for your creativity.

No one knows your unique situation, perspective or way of being. Except you of course. And that’s who you should listen to. What feels right? Take broad markers along the way, and apply them to your unique situation. Iterate as you go along. But stop listening to idiots on the interweb. Me included.
